Nicholls, Donald Henry
Peacefully, at St. Mary’s General Hospital, Kitchener, with a smile on his face; Wednesday March 15, 2023, of Paris; formerly of Preston (not Cambridge), in his 92nd year.
Don served with the Preston and Cambridge Fire Departments and was a long-time member of the Internationally famous Preston Scout House Marching Band from age 12, until the short- shorts were “too short” for a married man.
Loving husband of the late Nancy (nee Weiler, 1996); Loving Dad to Keith (Cindy), Lynn (John Tisseur), Neil (Lynn), and Stuart (Kelly Fennema). Cherished Grandpa to Caitlin, Julie-Anne, Laura, Dawn, Samantha, Christina, Matthew, and Jamie; as well as 9 great grandchildren. Dear brother to the late Gerald and William (Mary) Nicholls. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. A family interment will be held at Parklawn Cemetery, Cambridge, (Preston), ON., where he will rest with Nancy, the love of his life.
