He offered the staff and board encouragement and wisdom and always did it with a smile and warm sense of humor. I knew him as a mentor, supporter, friend and lover of life. Bob spoke with pride of his community and his family. He will be forever remembered at the Homer Watson historic site for his generosity and loving nature.

Condolence: My condolences to the Cowan Family. My path seldom crossed with Bob's, but when it did, we had many very enjoyable conversations. I saw him last at my mother's 97th birthday. He appeared at Teller Place with a large bouquet of flowers & a big hug for Mom (Verna)....a very kind and thoughtful gesture. This was greatly appreciated by Mom and myself.
