Lawson, Albert Maurice
November 4, 1936 – December 24, 2019
With his family at his side Albert passed peacefully at the Grand River Health Center in his 84th year. Our heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff in the dialysis unit, Emergency and ICU for their wonderful care and compassion through this difficult time.
Greatly missed his beloved wife Carol (62 years), children Dan (Sheila), Chris Tryon (Jim), Tom and Tim (Kathy). Survived by sisters Marion Skitch and Ethel Bertin and predeceased by sister Carol and brother Bill. Beloved Poppa to 8 Grandchildren and 6 Great-Grandchildren with another on the way.
Fondly remembered for his contribution to Ayr through active membership in the Ayr Kinsman Club, Ayr Horticultural Society, Ayr Curling Club and as a founding Member of the Friends of the Ayr Library.
Friends may call at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St, Ayr Ontario from 7 – 9 pm on Monday December 30 and 11 – 1 am and Tuesday December 31. Funeral for family and close friends to follow. Interment following cremation Ayr Cemetery
