We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Tony Veldkamp Jr. on October 4, 2022. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 41 years, Karen (nee Zehender), children David (fiancée Rachel) and Kristina, father Antonie “Tony” Veldkamp Sr., and siblings Albert Veldkamp, Grace (Lorenzo) Bruno, and Jennifer (Eric) Normandin. He was a cherished uncle to Mitchell, Ashley (Tiago), Yolanda, Carmen, Marcanthony, Sophie, and Mattheus, and will also be missed by his mother-in-law Maria Zehender, sister-in-law Trish Zehender (Mike Ruysseveldt), and many other family and friends whom he loved. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Horst Zehender, and mother, Jantje "Jennie" Veldkamp. Tony had a kind and compassionate heart. Sadly, he also struggled with depression, ultimately losing his battle with the disease. A private Celebration of LIfe will be held for immediate family members only. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in Tony’s memory.
