Born Sept 15, 1930 – June 13, 2022
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Arlene Adams, in her 92nd year. Arlene was predeceased by her husband Melvin and siblings, Richard, Jessie, and Violet May and her parents. Arlene had fond memories of growing up in Richwood, ON, where she learned to swim in the Nith River and played Hide N Seek in the Cemetery.
She started her working life with Bell Canada but quickly moved to Walker Press (later Kaumograph) and finally became the manager of the Sears Catalogue Office in Paris. There were stories to tell, and she had great fun with her work friends.
Dwight, Ontario was her favourite place and cottaged there for over 50 years. Many great memories were made with friends and family there.
Arlene is survived by her beloved brother Joe (Brenda); her daughter Pam, her grandchildren Kristopher and Emily and great grandchildren, Sommer, Myla and Parker. She loved her family to her core and her nieces and nephews as if they were her own.
We all know that she’ll be winning Euchre games and eating praline and cream ice cream with her heavenly loved ones.
Love and many thanks to all the amazing PSW and nurses at Telfer Place and Park Lane Terrace for keeping her happy, busy and loved over the last few years.
Cremation has taken place, a Celebration of Life will be held with interment Richwood Cemetery
