Peacefully, at Brantford General Hospital, on Wednesday September 26, 2018, of Paris and Ayr, in his 69th year. Art was a former Councillor in the Town of Paris and the County of Brant. He had a very active musical career touring all of Ontario playing drums and singing with countless different bands. Art was a die-hard Montreal Canadians fan. Beloved dad to Nadine McGregor; cherished papa to Ben and Izzy, loved son to Kay and late Art MacKenzie (1985); dear brother to Cathy Norman (Al), Louise Kowalsky (Al Schenck), and Mike (Teri Mahon). Special friend to Karen Robertson Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Charlie (2000) and Jimmy (1970). Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Sunday September 30, 2018 from 1-4 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 11:00 AM. Cremation followed by interment Sacred Heart Cemetery, Paris.Donations to SPCA Brant or Paris Legion would be appreciated.
