Edgar, Bonnie Jean
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bonnie Jean Edgar (nee Knowles) on Sunday December 1st, 2013, at Brantford General Hospital, with her family.
She is celebrated by her husband of 40 years Robert, children Ryan (Teresa and family) of Drumbo, Bronwen (Ronni) of Toronto, Lowell of Paris, Keeley (Melissa) of The Hill Farm Ayr, her Father; Harry Knowles of Paris, Brothers; Darrell of Eganville and Bryn of St. Catharines. She is predeceased by her mother Doris Knowles and brother David Knowles.
Bonnie was born in Lynden, Ontario. She graduated from the University of Guelph in 1973. As an active member of the church and community and above all else a busy mother, her passion for gardening and floral design allowed her to relax and unwind. Her unconditional love and kindness extended to her friends and family. Her pride and joy was her children and grandchildren. At the age of 62, she had her life taken away by cancer. It was a fulfilling life well lived, but too short. She has touched many lives and will be deeply missed.
Friends may call at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St. Ayr, on Wednesday December 4, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held at Knox United Church, (92 Northumberland St. Ayr) on Thursday at 1:00 PM with Rev. Terry Dunseith officiating. Family Interment Ayr Cemetery.
