Condolence: To Bob and family, my sincerest condolences go out to all of you for your loss. Bonnie was a strong woman, active and involved in a lot of things. She has touched many. When I was a young babysitter for your family Bonnie was someone whom I looked up to. She was educated and always involved in so many things, associations and volleyball nights, working on the farm, and yet her family was so important. Cherish your memories and may her passion and love live on through your grandchildren.

Lorne and I are truly saddened by your loss. Bonnie always enjoyed a good visit and laugh. Her smile was beautiful. She always made us feel welcome wherever we would meet whether Florida or home. I am thankful that we were able to meet for many great meals and visits. Hugs to all.

Condolence: My Friend
I feel blessed to have shared a deep personally-satisfying friendship with Bonnie for over thirty years. I will miss her beautiful, big open smile and her infectious laugh. How she loved a good joke or a funny story. We shared so many over the years. Bonnie was always a great listener, non-judgmental and a loyal friend. She had the ability to empathize, always there when life's road got rocky. We had many heartfelt, candid and very personal conversations about life over the years. We shared many of the same interests: walking, gardening, reading, lunches out and of course Cornhusker and Volleyball parties. I feel very lucky to have experienced that closeness and connection with Bonnie, and to call her my friend. She was a constant in my life.
In the end, Bonnie was ready, She let go and now she's at peace and soaring. I'll see you on the other side, my friend.
"A butterfly lights beside us like a sunbeam and for a brief moment its glory and beauty belong to our world. But then it flies on again, and though we wish it could have stayed, we feel so lucky to have seen it!"
Love Always

Our deepest condolences to you and your family on the loss of a wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend. I have such fond memories of our times at Guelph. Our visits to the Hill farm will also stay with us. I would so like to have attended the funeral but will be there in thought and prayer... The memories that you and your family carry will be a lasting tribute to a wonderful, sincere, welcoming and beautiful person both inside and out....
