Bruce Thomas Hutchinson
Died peacefully at Princess Margaret Cancer Center Monday September 28th, 2020 after a lengthy illness. Born October 5, 1952 at the Willett Hospital, Paris, Ontario. Bruce was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Mabel Hutchinson, and a nephew Jordan Hutchinson. Bruce is survived by his partner Lincoln Moran, and his five brothers: Terry (Barbara), Brent (Debbie), Gary, Kevin (Geri) and Robin (Paula), and several cousins, nieces and nephews, and his dear friend and roommate Brad Walton.
Bruce had a passion for the arts, travel, literature, cooking, good food, and life. Though somewhat private and retiring, Bruce was well loved by the individuals that had the privilege of knowing him. The words “loyalty,” and “commitment to loved ones,” as well as “dependable, honest, compassionate, and considerate” appear frequently in the numerous messages of condolence from life long friends remembering this strong, loving, intelligent man. Cremation has taken place; there will be a private family ceremony sometime in the future.
The family wishes to thank all the caring professionals at Princess Margaret Cancer Center who assisted and comforted Bruce in his final days. In memory of Bruce, donations can be made to the Canadian Neuroendocrine Tumor Society or to the Princess Margaret Cancer Center.
