Gracey, Catharine Marie (nee McGinnis)
Passed away, peacefully, at the Owen Sound Hospital, with her children at her side, on Monday August 17, 2020, of Chatsworth and formerly of Brantford and Paris in her 80th year.
Cherished mother to Stephen, Janet, and Michael (Terri); loved grandmother to Sommer, Tanner, Sophia, Hannah and Alyx. Cherished mother to Michaele (Geoff), the late Derek (Cindy), Lee (Kirsten) and loving grandmother to Shelby, Marisa, James, Tyler, Sydney, and Ashley. Catharine was an only child. Sadly missed by her friends and loving Chatsworth Community and her loving Canine companion Jenny. Predeceased by her parents Joseph McGinnis and Johanna (nee O’Connor).
Catharine, with impeccable dedication and expertise had a career as a registered nurse, she positively impacted and touched the lives of many. Catharine was mom to many.
Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Thursday August 27, 2020 from 2-4 & 7-9PM. A Family Memorial Service will be held on Friday.
In keeping with current COVID 19 regulations only 50 people are permitted in the funeral home at one time, masks are required to be worn in the funeral home at all times.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Owen Sound Animal Shelter would be appreciated.
