Obituary for Charles "Owen" Munroe

Charles “Owen” Munroe
Passed away peacefully, at his home in Paris, on Thursday May 5, 2022, at the age of 90 years. Owen was a long-time Firefighter with the Town of Paris, he served as a Councillor for the Town of Paris, a lifetime Optimist Club member, a part of Brant Mutual Aid, a member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 29 Paris, and a volunteer Driver for the Cancer Society.
Beloved husband to the late Ina (nee Woodley 2021) for 71 years, celebrated this past February 10th; Loving dad of Debra (Hal) Morris, Vickie (Mike) McKinnon and Charlene (Eddy) Petit-Pas.
Dearly missed by his grandchildren Nathan, Becky, Rachael, Emily, Timothy, Jeffery, Daniel Amie, Kristy and Julie as well as his 9 great-grandchildren.
Owen will also be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews and families as well as an abundance of friends. Predeceased by his sisters Genevieve Greisser, Willa Kovack “Bubbles” and Beverley Munro.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on
Tuesday May 10, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday 11:00 AM. Interment Paris Cemetery.
