MILLER, CLARENCE
In his 64th year and surrounded by his family, Clarence passed away on April 11, 2017. Most beloved husband of Colleen and dearest father of Ammie and Kevin Collins of Toronto, and Gregory and Katrina Miller of Ancaster. Cherished Poppa of Claire, Jason and Damon.
Clarence was predeceased by his parents Mary “Madge” and Harold “Snook” Miller and his brother Charles Miller (Harriett). He will be sadly missed by his siblings. Sisters, Leone McCraken (Graham), Mary Muir (Jim), Barbara Fox, Angela Beryl Miller (Andy), Sandra MacLennan (Brent), Audrey Gommier (Dean), and Kerri Kilik (John) and his brother Michael Miller (Pat). Dear brother-in-law of Faith (Al) Bonfini, Bruce (Laura) Selinger, Allan (Susan) Selinger
Clarence and Colleen were high school sweethearts who went on to share in a marriage of 42 years. They were married in January of 1975. Their love story was one to be admired, and stood the test of time. They had a beautiful family and cherished their children and grandchildren. There was no greater joy to Clarence then spending time with his family. He was a wonderful Poppa! Claire, Jason and Damon were his heart and soul!
Clarence was a very kind, thoughtful, and generous husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend. He was always there for his family and friends, and could be counted on for help, a laugh, and good time. Clarence was an International Consultant, and made many friends around the globe. Whether you were a friend from the neighbourhood or a friend from across the seas, he was always there for you; to listen, to tell you one heck of a story, or to support you when you needed it.
Clarence was born and lived his whole life in Brant County; however he and Colleen were fortunate enough to see so much of the world. They loved to plan adventures. They travelled with friends, with family, with the Grandkids, and took many trips alone together. They loved to get away, to see the sights and to experience the cultures abroad. One of Clarence’s favourite escapes was to the cottage. He loved the cottage! The cottage on Georgian Bay was truly his “happy place”.
Cremation has taken place.
