Obituary for Dean Francis Hurley

HURLEY - Dean
Passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer on Tuesday, June 12th, 2012 at the Stedman Community Hospice; Dean Francis Hurley of Paris, age 66; born in Brantford on April 6th, 1946, Dean was predeceased by parents Jerome and Ruth Hurley; Dean lived his life to the fullest with his wife of 46 years Joanne; his children Tammy Homer, and Chris (Traci) Hurley; grandchildren Maddison, Marina, Chasity, Benjamin and Sammy; great grandson Evan; brother Paul (Linda) Hurley of Ridgeway; and sister Marlene Gareau; also lovingly remembered by nieces Leeanne and Julie and their families; brothers- in- law Fred Pickles (Linda Grenier) and John (Donna) Pickles; mother- in- law Florence Foxcroft; the Book Family of Jerseyville; and his AA extended family.
Dean was a long time truck driver, employee of Thibodeau Finch, and most recently Sonoco Paper products.
Friends will be received at the Wm. KIPP FUNERAL HOME, 184 Grand River Street North, Paris on Saturday, June 16 from 1:00 p.m. until service time at 3:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dean’s memory may be made to the Stedman Community Hospice, Brantford. A special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and volunteers, friends and family that helped Dean and his family through this difficult time.
