It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Doreen Marie Chaney (nee Doyle) on Friday June 7, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at Brantford General Hospital, Brantford, ON. Gone to join her beloved husband Patrick “Paddy” Chaney (March 18, 1984). Dearest mother of Michael (Janet) Chaney and Donna Chaney. Doreen will be dearly missed by her grandchilden Kyle, Corey, Jamie, Patrick, Liam and great granddaughter Ember. Doreen will be remembered by other family members and friends for her zest for life and caring soul. A heartfelt thank you to the compassionate and loving staff for the exceptional care Doreen received while at Telfer Place, Paris, ON.
The family would also like to recognize the staff at the Brantford General Hospice for their excellent care.
At Doreen’s request, cremation has already taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, June 17, 2019, at Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, Paris Chapel, 184 Grand River St. N., Paris, ON N3L 2N1, visitation from 2-3 p.m. with funeral service at 3:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated in her memory. Friends and family are invited to post condolences at www.wmkippfuneralhome.com
