Gibson, Doug – “Gibby”
Peacefully, after a brief illness, at Brantford General Hospital, on Tuesday April 25, 2023, a lifelong resident of Paris, in his 89th year.
Doug was a career trucker driving millions of miles, he achieved many awards over his career as an owner operator and company driver with Pelton Transport.
Beloved husband to Leta (nee Galloway) for 65 years, loved dad to Joanne, and Jimmie; dear brother to Barb Muckler, Gord Gibson and Carol Lisckai. Also survived cousins, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris, on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday at 11:00AM. Cremation followed by interment Paris Cemetery.
Donations to War Amps or Sick Kids Hospital would be appreciated.
