At Brantford General Hospital on Monday, February 1, 2010; Mary Elaine Pilon of Paris, in her 83rd year; dear wife of the late Ray Reading (2003); loving and dedicated mother of Jim (Rosemary) and Roger, both of Paris; loving 'Grandma Elaine' of Carrie (Dan Boers), Clint (Krista), David, Stacey (Kerri) and Shelby; 'Nana Elaine' of Susannah, Mariah, Maxdan, Fox, Pippa and Samantha; also survived by 2 brothers and 3 sisters; also predeceased by sons sons Larry (2000) and Allan (1994), and grandson Jeff (2007). Elaine made music part of her life and encouraged other members of her family to enjoy it also. She was a member of St. Paul's United Church, Paris, a former Cub Leader and was, until recently, a cook with Meals-on-Wheels for 25 years. Friends will be received at the Wm. KIPP FUNERAL HOME, 184 Grand River Street North, Paris on Saturday, February 6 from noon until funeral service time at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Lee Haughton of St. Paul's United Church, Paris officiating. Cremation followed by interment in Paris Cemetery. Donations in Elaine's memory may be made to the charity of your choice.
