Obituary for Elizabeth Frances Farr
Elizabeth “Betty” Frances Farr (nee Andrews)
Passed away at Brantford General hospital on Thursday November 17, 2022, at 93 years of age. Cherished wife of the late Edwin John Farr (May 30, 2022); Loving mother of Kevin and Stephen (Cheryl), Beloved grandma of David, Elizabeth Whitehead (Trevvor), Ian, Lauren and Jacqueline and great grandmother to Daria. Sadly, missed by her sister-in-law Anna, as well as her many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. Pre-deceased by her parents Frederick and Frances Andrews (nee Chappelle) and her sister Marie Cleland (Robert).
Betty was known for her incredible sense of humour, her deep and abiding love of family and friends and her adventurous spirit. She lived most of her life in Southern Ontario, but travelled extensively when the opportunity arose; including a fourteen month trip throughout Europe with her husband and two young kids. Her proudest title was "Grandma/ Great Grandma". Her exemplary wit, kindness and compassion have left an everlasting impression on all those she loved. She will be deeply missed.
Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris, on Tuesday November 22, 2022, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
A Memorial Mass will take place at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, 17 Washington St, Paris, on Wednesday November 23 at 11 a.m.
Internment at Holy Cross Cemetery to follow.
