Elva passed away at Brantford General Hospital on Saturday September 30, 2023, at the age of 97. Loving wife to the Late Kester Thomson (1988); cherished mom to Kathryn (john Jepson) of Paris, Robert of Brantford, and Karen (Robert Lavigne) of Brantford; Much loved grand mother to Jennifer and her daughters Marisa and Hailey. Predeceased by her parents, Aaron and Clarissa Pletsch (nee Hesse), her sister Olive, brother Danny and a grandson Robert. Elva lived a quiet life raising her children and caring for her home. She loved to beautify her home in Paris with lovely flower gardens and abundant vegetable gardens. She loved her faith and friendships at Paris Presbyterian Church and will be sadly missed. Elva’s Family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Telfer Place, Paris, for the thoughtful, kind care shown to her while she resided there. Friend may call at Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, from 6-8 pm followed by an evening service in the Funeral Home Chapel at 8.00 PM.
