A lady of great strength, beauty , independence and determination . Our beloved Evelyn had her final wish granted and has “Gone to glory”.
Predeceased by husbands Hector Waters and Jim Allison, parents George and Ruth Leitch, brothers Donald and William, and sister Barbara.
Beloved and cherished Auntie Ev to Diane Williams, Denise Shiplo, Donna Kings, Judy Leitch- Beal, John Leitch, Scott and Kevin McGregor, Ken Leitch, Linda Leitch -Alford and their families. Loved sister-in-law to Ruth Leitch.
Lovingly remembered by step children Cindy Morgan, Nancy Waring and Rick Allison and their families. Remembered by sister in laws Louise, Pansy, Audrey, Myrna and their families .
Loved friend to Marg Sabine, one of many a friendship that formed during Ev’s long career as an operator with “The Bell”.
A heartfelt thank you to the VON Staff and Tranquility Place Staff who treated Ev with respect and friendship. Many of you went above and beyond and Ev adored you.
Auntie Ev always had a smile on her face, a twinkle in her eye, a quick come back in her pocket, and was a wonderful story teller of days gone by. She faced each day, and the challenges life gave with optimism and positivity.
So many family memories were caught by the eye of her camera lens. The pictures, the slides, the movies, allowing us all to recapture and reminisce those special times we shared together over the years.
So many friends, so many travels and so many life adventures.
Her smile, her laugh, her words of wisdom shall be forever etched in our hearts and those who were blessed to know her . The love we shared shall live forever in our hearts.
Good-bye our Noxzema girl. How great thou are.
Today let us all raise a short glass and toast to a long life lived, a beautiful soul. May we all aspire to be so wise as she.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Wm. Kipp Funeral Home 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Thursday August 26, 2021 from 1-2 PM. A Memorial Service will follow in the chapel at 2:00. Inurnment Paris Cemetery.
