Suddenly, at home on Sunday August 25, 2019, a long-time resident of Paris, in his 94th year.
Garnet was a founding member of the new Paris Curling Club. He worked for many years in the textiles business.
Beloved husband to the late Yvonne (nee Adams-2004); loved dad to Brian, Donna Gilbert (Ernie), Alan, and Dale (Wanda); cherished papa to Amy (Chris), Michael (Stacey), Adam (Marina), Jason (Stephanie) Alana (Dustin), Samantha, Katelyn, and Alexis and great papa to 8 great grandchildren.
Garnet was predeceased by his 5 siblings.
A private family service was held with interment Paris Cemetery.
