G.H. “ Ross” Brown 1940 - 2021
Peacefully, at Brantford General Hospital, on Thursday January 14, 2021 in his 81st year.
Survived by his wife Pat (nee Canning) for 57 years. Left to grieve are his children Mark (Kim), Paul (Pam), and Tammy (Larry); also 5 grandchildren Lindsay, Spencer, Carson, and twins Nate and Emma.
In his younger years Ross was very active. He played pond hockey with Walter Gretzky, and also played baseball for the Brantford Red Sox Jr. Team. He was a great car enthusiast first with Jalopy Racing at Flamboro and Delaware Raceways and then with demo cars at Paris Fair. He also did some coaching for the Burford Jr. D Hockey Club and Burford Minor Hockey. Ross was never one to sit still until as of late when he enjoyed reading western and suspense novels. The only time he really slowed down was in 1963 when he had broken legs due to a freak accident working with his dad. Even after that he rebounded and proceeded with life.
Cremation has taken place.
