Peacefully, at Brantford General Hospital, on Saturday January 30, 2010, of Paris, in his 85th year.
Glen was employed with the CNR for over 34 years, he was an accomplished woodworker and a violin maker, but most of all; he was a very quiet family man.
Beloved husband for 57 years to Josie; loved dad to Nancy Richardson (Ross) of BC, Martin (Karen) of St. Williams, and Christine Hazell (David) of Paris; cherished grandpa to Scott Laura (Jeff), Curtis, Emily, Madeline, Liam, Andrew and Great grandpa tp Reuben; dear brother to Donald, Percy, Doris, and Lorna, Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Roy & Estella, his granddaughter Natalie (1991), and siblings Irvin, Nelson, Grace, and Pearl.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral Service to be held in the chapel on Wednesday at 1:00 PM. Interment St. James Anglican Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
