With heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Gordon Elwin Anderson, 95 years of age, on July 3, 2020. Dad will be reunited with Betty, his beloved wife of 71 years, who passed away in 2018. Dad was predeceased by his parents, William Elwin Anderson and Mary Olive Anderson (Davidson) and his sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn and Lloyd Gurney and Jean and Stanley Taylor. He will be greatly missed by his three sons and their wives, Bob (Tanis), John (Jane) and Jim (Kathy), his four grandchildren Joy, Scott, Jill and Wes, his six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Dad was a well-respected member of the construction industry for over 50 years, working in Brantford, Niagara Falls and Hamilton, with the last 20 years as President of Anderson Contracting (Brantford) Limited. He was a wonderful father and a great friend. The family would like to thank the staff at Telfer Place for their very kind and compassionate care.
A Private Family service was will be held with interment Oakhill Cemetery
