On Saturday, February 15, 2020, in his 91st year, Gord Odegaard, beloved partner of Mary Reed. Predeceased by his loving wife, Joyce Hart, 2011, parents, George and Mae Odegaard, brothers Wilfred and Brian, and, sisters, Aileen Tinkess and Eric (Iris) Glass.
Loving father of Karen (Bruce) and Gordon Jr. Devoted grandfather of Colleen (Jonathan) and Regan. Also missed by nieces and nephews.
Golf, curling and photography were his favourite pastimes. He loved to travel and visited Ireland, Russia, Spain, Cuba, Hawaii, Thailand, Dominican Republic, California, Florida and throughout Canada. He was an entrepreneur, mechanic, teacher at Mohawk College, car salesman at Forbes Bros. and an ice maker for several curling clubs.
In accordance with Gord's wishes, cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
