Obituary for Hariett Laura Hingston (Hume)
Hingston, Harriet Laura (nee Hume)
Peacefully, at Brantford General Hospital, on Monday January 6, 2014, a longtime resident of R. R. # 1 Drumbo, in her 89th year.
Beloved wife to the late Raymond “Bud” (1988); loved mom to Norma Fortune (Peter) and Jim (Doreen); cherished grandma to 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; dear sister to Gladys Doersam (Donald) and sister in law to Jack Hingston (Deanna). Also survived by many nieces and nephew and many friends.
Predeceased by her daughter, Jean (1999) a grandson David (1990), her brothers Allison and Kenneth Hume and sister in laws Marion Behan and Alleen May.
A Family service was held at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home on Saturday January 11, 2014. Spring Interment Ayton Cemetery, Ayton.
Donations to the Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
