Taylor, Harold Francis
Died peacefully, at PeopleCare Hilltop Manor, Cambridge on Friday October 30th, 2020 in his 94th year.
Beloved husband of the Late Christina Taylor (Nee Watling 2014). Loving father of Karen Weber (Paul), Brian Taylor (Lorna), and Garth Taylor (Shelley). Proud Papa of the late Jeremy (1989), James (Asli), Amy, Tammy (Nick) Shantz, Jessica Butcher, Christopher, Timothy, Greg (Jennifer) Palmer, and Jamie Hargreaves; as well as several great grandchildren. Harold is sadly missed by his brother Ron (Carolyn); sisters-in-law Cecelia and Iona Taylor, as well as his extended family. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents Percy and Hilda Taylor (Nee Sweezey); sister, Thelma (Bert) Bell and bothers Norman (Elaine), Burt and Merv.
"Harold was involved in the trucking industry all his life, from owning his own company to working for larger companies. He also owned and operated a sand and gravel business.
He enjoyed hobby farming as his recreation. He valued family and friends, keeping them close.
Kena was the love of his life and they shared a beautiful life together. Harold had a generous heart and lent a helping hand wherever needed. Family meant everything to him, and friends became family. He was a wonderful Papa."
Friends may gather at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St., Ayr on Tuesday November 3, 2020 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. PLEASE RSVP ON THE FUNERAL HOME WEBSITE, see below. In keeping with current COVID-19 restrictions, Maximum attendees must be maintained, masks must be worn, and social distancing observed.
A family service will be held. Interment at the Roseville Cemetery.
