Condolence From: Cheryl Peck
Condolence: Dear Ken, Michelle and Brent. I am extremely sorry to hear about Heather's passing. Heather was such a wonderful person that influenced so many people. I was involved with the plough match of mud on Heather's committee. What a memorable experience, meeting so many people I still remain in contact with. Heather had the ability of seeing a person's strengths and giving them the confidence to achieve what seemed to be the impossible. I cannot believe that Heather, a person so full of life and energy is gone. I cannot imagine the loss you feel. I hope in time you are able to take strength and comfort in the fact that Heather truly did not waste anytime waiting, Heather made things happen and lived life. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Sincerely, Cheryl Peck

Condolence From: Gord Mitchell
Condolence: Michelle, Brent and Ken. My heart has been very heavy since hearing the sad news of the passing of your Mum and loving wife. We who remember Heather and how she touched so many lives along her short journey, can only wish you comfort, from the many friends who are near and dear to you, as they help you though this very difficult time. I want to share with you with a poem that has given me comfort at similar sad times in my life. I know that you and your family love nature and hope that when you see nature in it's beauty that Heather shines though to you, like she always did..... Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there,I do not sleep, I am the 1000 winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on fresh fallen snow, I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn's rain, When you awaken to the morning's hush, I am the swift up lifting rush, of quiet birds in circled flight, I am the soft stars that shine at night, Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there, I did not die. Author Unknown. God bless all of you.... Michelle, Brent and Ken

Condolence From: Kelly
Condolence: Dear Ken, Michelle, and Brent, I was shocked and saddened to hear of your terrible loss on Easter Monday. I wish I could pay my respects in person at the funeral. Aside from being a great friend to my parents, Heather was one of my first employers. It's a long time ago now, but babysitting for her was a dream--she was so friendly, organized and generous with her excellent cooking and advice. I still have a thoughtful note she sent when I went away to university. I admired her very much and am so sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Kelly

Condolence From: Elaine Morash
Condolence: The Richardson women: Heather, Christine, Gwen, Nancy, Margaret and their Mom, Eva Richardson. I looked forward to every one of you visiting your Mom and I would run over and visit with you too. Some of our evenings were full of laughs and silliness and I will cherish those gatherings. Heather left her mark on this world and it's one that her family can be proud. Heather didn't put her goals off, she accomplished them by being determined and passionate. Heather's natural leadership skills were evident as she possessed so much energy and it was contagious To her Richardson family, I'm so sorry you have lost your sister and your daughter. Heather had amazing roots. To Ken, Michelle and Brent, your mother was always a mother and a wife to you all first. We heard about you all often. Take care of each other, Heather has given you strong roots, to continue to flourish and blossom in your lives.

Condolence From: Cathie Leimbach
Condolence: Ken, Michelle, and Brent; I regret that we have not connected in person in recent years. I was just thinking of your family a few days ago and how great it would be to touch base. I have so many fond memories of times with Heather when we both worked at Vineland Station. She was one of the most organized people I know and thus could accomplish so much! She was so positive and full of energy - a great inspiration. She caused others to laugh, adding fun to many people's lives. And she laughed at herself, for example when she helpfully placed a parcel for Ralph Winslade to take to an AIC conference directly in his car in the Ag Office parking lot, only to find out that Ralph's car wasn't at the office and that the car in which she had placed the parcel was no longer in the parking lot. After inquiring around the office to learn what clients had been in that morning and making a few phone calls the parcel was located. The car was the same color as Ralph's, but not the same make or style. Heather didn't pay more attention to car makes and models than I do. I am so sorry for this premature loss. May you feel God's peace during this difficult time. May many happy memories of Heather fill your hearts.

Condolence From:
Condolence: My thoughts are with you. I like many were in shock to hear the news of Heather's death. Many memories have flooded back to me from meeting Heather at Junior Day in Peterborough back in 1982, to working together in extension and farm assistance in the field, to being on Ag Rep Branch management together to OWFRP. Heather's love for her children, her passion for her the farm families/communities she worked, and her bright, optimistic approach are wonderful tributes. I can't imagine the saddness and trauma you will be going through, and realize that little can say. My thoughts are with you.
