Condolence From: MOLLY - FOULDS - CHERRY
Condolence: Dear Brother Doug. I am sorry that I didn't get an email out to be read at the Funeral Home. Doug I loved You and l will miss you terribly. I loved our chats on the phone and especially your knowledge of all our relatives and people of Paris. Whenever I wanted to know anything about a relative you could always answer my question. Your knowledge of everyone in the town was incredible. You were a very loved and repected Man in the town. How I wished that you had learned the "computer". We could have had a hay day conversing back and forth. You were a trooper throughout your lengthy illness and we all admired your strength and courage right up until the end. Ohhh, how I wish that I didn't live so far away from you. Tell Mom,Dad and brother Richard "hello" when you get there. Holding you in my heart forever. My loving thoughts go out to Doe and Lisa. Fondly: Sister Molly

Condolence: I was privileged to get to know Mr.Foulds through Reids. He loved our chocolates - all of them! He used to ask for me personally when he shopped and I loved it. I always looked forward to his visit at Easter when he shopped for his daughter,Lisa. He would buy her a hollow chocolate egg filled with Truffles and a large box of chocolates for his wife.He made my day with his warmth and appreciation. Mr.Foulds was a very special gentleman who will never be forgotten. My thought are with Lisa and family. Elizabeth Boutilier

Condolence: Our thoughts today are with the Family of Doug Foulds It was my pleasure to serve with Doug on the Paris Public Utilities Commission, Doug Served as Chair for a number of years as well as a commissioner. It was my first introduction to Doug as a servant to the Paris Community His dedication to Paris was unmatched. I later moved on to Elected Councillor for Paris and the County of Brant. I continued to call on Doug for his advice, thoughts and suggestions for many issues facing Council. I am proud to say my association and mentoring by Doug served me well in representing Paris. I learned through Doug when to speak, when to hold it back and when to listen in Public meetings. I had the opportunity some months ago to visit Doug at Telfer Place. We had a great couple of hours talking about Paris, The Fire Department and Council and true to form Doug had a very robust opinion on all of them which was no surprise. Doug was not one to hold back on an opinion. We laughed, we remembered better times as we talked about his favourite subject ..Paris Doug I will miss you, Rest in Peace Roy Haggart and Denise
