The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of J. Hazlewood can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: My deep condolences to the entire family on the loss of Doug Hazlewood. I have known Doug for over 50 years, since Advancement Classes in grade 8. We reconnected last year at our 50-year class reunion, and rapidly became very close. Doug was a deeply spiritual man, who in his last year read the Bible and meditated every day. I am certain he is at peace now, in the Light and love of heaven. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Condolence: Very sorry to hear of Doug's passing. We were in school together during Grades 7 and 8, and had a lot of fun. He taught me a lot about fashion, although apparently his lessons didn't stick. It was great to be able to reconnect last year at the 50th reunion. He still had the same devilish smile.
