James worked at Standard Tube (ArcelorMittal) in Woodstock as an electrician for many years.
Predeceased by his beloved wife, Margaret (nee Swinton 2007). Dear father of Keith (Susan) of Cambridge and Ross (Carrie) of Owen Sound. Dear grandfather of Craig (Jamie), Kyle (Ailish), Laine, Amy, and Brandon. Also survived by great grandchildren, Shiloh, Hunter, and Jonah and brothers Ralph and Norman and sister Sharon. Predeceased by his parents Walter and Winnifred Church and brothers Charles, George and Joe.
Interment has taken place at Princeton Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Wed. June 1, 2022, from 10-11 AM. A Celebration of Life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11AM.
