Watson, Joan Elaine (nee Fitzpatrick)
Peacefully, at Guelph General Hospital, on Friday August 2, 2019, a long-time resident of Ayr, in her 88th year.
Joan loved spending time with family and friends especially at the cottage at Lake Huron. She was a avid knitter, reader and shopper. She had a long enjoyable career as a Public Health Nurse.
Beloved wife to John; loved mother to Janice Weber (Tom) and the late David (2017); cherished grandma to Laura (Michael Lanteigne) and Dexter Weber and Sarah and Reid Watson.
Predeceased by her parents Herb and Laurena Fitzpatrick.
Cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St. Ayr on Wednesday August 7, 2019 from 6-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Interment Ayr Cemetery.
