Obituary for John Jameson Thompson
John Thompson passed away at Stedman Hospice in Brantford on March 22, 2024 in his 85th year. He was the beloved husband of Audrey (McKellar) Thompson. He was the father of Beth (Joe) of Guelph, Wendy (Jim) of Calgary, and Sarah (Mike) of Stouffville, grandfather of Brittany (Geoff) of Uxbridge, Malcolm of London, Robbyn (Brad) of Lethbridge, Zac (Jaime) of Calgary, Stephanie (Dustin) of Guelph, Chris (Kayla) of Cambridge, Jessica (Dane) of New York City and great grandfather to Colton, Peyton, Oakley, Porter, Decker, Ashton, Kollyns, Lucas, Chloe, Bentley and Slater.
John was a lifelong resident of the town of Paris. John’s parents started Thompson Printing in Paris in 1954. John and his brothers, Herb and Mark, followed in their parents’ footsteps and the business continues to be successful.
At John’s request, there will be no funeral service. A special thank you to the caregivers from the LHIN, Bayshore and Stedman Hospice.
