Kempert, John Watson “Jack”
Peacefully, after a brief illness, at Stirling Heights LTC, Cambridge, on Saturday May 30, 2015, a longtime resident of Paris, in his 81st year.
Jack was very active in the Paris area, he was involved with the Paris Optimist Club, Paris Lions Club, and the Paris Mounties. Jack was employed with Flintkote and more recently the Town of Paris, retiring in 1999.
Beloved husband to the late Shirley (nee Prine -1999); loved Dad to Steve (Debbie), Donna Clancy (Dennis), Allan (Cathy), and Susanne Ayres (Duane); cherished grandpa to Nichole (Larry), Brad, Alysha, Ethan, Nick, Hudson, & Nolan; and great grandpa to Sophia and Emma; dear brother to Fran Gibson (Fred) & Ted. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Cora, his sister Aerielle Stuart, and Stan Kempert.
Friends and family will be received at Wm. Kipp Funeral Home 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Tuesday from 7-9 and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday at 11:00 AM. Interment Paris Cemetery.
A Lion’s Service will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 6:30 PM.
