Gibson, Leta May (nee Galloway)
Peacefully, at Telfer Place, Paris, on Sunday November 5, 2023, a lifelong resident of Paris, in her 88th year.
Leta retired from Marco Sales after a 25-year career, and she was an avid reader. She loved to shop in downtown Paris. “I will gladly pay you Tuesday for a Hamburger today.”
Beloved wife to the late Doug (April 2023) for 65 years, loved mom to Joanne, and Jimmie. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Tom and May Galloway; her brother Tommy (Mary) and sisters, Mary Madden (Vern), and Marjorie Moore (Ken).
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris, on Wednesday November 8, 2023 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Complete Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 11:00AM. Cremation followed by interment Paris Cemetery.
