Obituary for Margaret Vivian "Marjory" Looney (Martin)

Marjory Looney
Margaret Vivian (Marjory) Looney of Mount Clemens, Michigan died on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at age 90. Born July 25, 1920, the daughter of Catherine “Evelyn” (Cunningham) and Thomas Arthur Martin, Marjory spent most of her school years in Paris. She served in the CWAC’s during the Second World War, moving to Michigan after the war. There she met and married her husband Keister B. Looney (deceased) and lived in Mount Clemens until the time of her death. She was predeceased by her brother Vernon Martin, who was killed in the war. Mrs. Looney is survived by her daughter Margaret Ann Looney of Mount Clemens, her sister Doreen Martin of Brantford, two aunts and several cousins. Memorial service will be held at ST. JAMES ANGLICAN CHURCH, 8 Burwell Street, Paris on Tuesday, June 28 at 3:00 p.m. Interment in Paris Cemetery following the service.
