Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, after a lengthy illness, at Park Lane Terrance, Paris, on Monday January 14, 2019, a longtime resident of Paris, in her 99th year.
Marie was a long-time member of Sacred Heart RC Church CWL, she was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She retired from CIBC Bank in Paris.
Beloved wife to the late Jack (2006); loved mom to Catherine Skokun (Tony) of Brantford, the late Terry – 2013 (Dorothy) of Brantford, Elizabeth Elliott (Rick) of Mt. Pleasant and John of Paris; cherished grandma to Marie Merrill (Terry), Michael Skokun, Sean Elliott (Kate), Charlie Wheelton (Emily), Christopher Skokun, and Stephen Elliott and great grandma to Nicole & Ashley Merrill, Will and Luke Elliott and Harlon & Hank Wheelton; dear sister to Sheila Marshall and sister in law to Leone, Joan & Lilian Moriarity. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents William and Mary, her brothers Patrick, Kevin, William, Terry Moriarity, and sister Jane Mosher (Harvey).
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris, on Thursday January 17, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart RC Church on Friday at 11:00 AM. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery, Paris.
Parish Prayers will be recited on Thursday at 8 :45 PM.
