Obituary for Michael Kim "Mac" MacCormack

MacCormack, Michael “Mac”-
It is with broken hearts we the share the passing of Mac on Thursday April 25, 2024, with his family at his side. He was a lifelong resident of Paris, in his 70th year.
Mac was a firefighter in Paris for 26 years and was also involved in training. He worked at Conestoga College in the Pre-Fire Service Program for 12 years and loved helping students become firefighters. Mac was happiest hanging out with family friends. You could always find him sitting in front of his wood stove in the shed with the doors open watching a ball game. He loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and canoeing and he was usually the camp cook. He found great joy in taking his grandsons on fishing excursions and spending time with them.
Beloved and much-loved husband to Cindy (nee Potentier) for 47 years; Loved dad to Christa (Kris) Martin; and the late Michael (1994); devoted grandpa to Hudson and Korson. He will be missed by his siblings, in laws and their families.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris, on Monday April 29, 2024 from 2-4 & 7-9PM. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 11:00 AM. Interment Sacred Heart Cemetery Paris.
