Born June 27, 1971, at the Willett Hospital, Paris Ontario, Patrick Paul Newstead passed away at Brantford General Hospital, Brantford Ontario, on March 8, 2024, in his 54th year. Loving son and best friend of Ruth Ann Broughton, and son of Paul Newstead. Sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, cousins and the many friends he made in his life time. Predeceased by a brother Timothy Glen Newstead in Infancy. Patrick attended Paris District High School, as well as Mohawk College where he became confined to a wheelchair. This diversion in life did not stop Patrick. He became and continued to volunteer at the Willett Hospital, and Participation House, as well as serving on volunteer boards including the Brant County Accessibility Committee and various Paris Fair committees throughout his life. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life Gathering take place at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 29, 71 William Street, Paris, on Sunday April 14, 2024, from 1 to 4:00 pm.
