Passed away at Brantford General Hospital, on Monday November 20, 2023, at 73 years of age. Husband to the late Norma (nee Robins). Loved dad to Gregory (Cassie Brown), Tyler (Marla Zarate) and Ian; Cherished grandad to Rowan and Mason, and Caden and Brynley. Sadly, missed by his sisters Nancy Boydell (Toby) and Bonnie as well as his many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Mildred Cockram (nee Wilson). Born on September 18, 1950, in Toronto, Philip spent most of his life in Brantford and the surrounding area. Growing up, Philip spent his youth engaged in hockey, football, and bagpiping. He also loved spending time in Long Point at the family cottage. In his later years, Philip was a successful small business owner and real estate investor. He also supported his sons by volunteering his time as a soccer coach, chauffer driving his children home from university for weekend visits or to/from sports events. Cremation has taken place. A service to celebrate Philip’s life will take place on Saturday, November 25th from 12:00 – 2:00pm at the Best Western Brantford Hotel & Conference Centre (19 Holiday Dr.) in Brantford.
