Suddenly at home, on Sunday May 16, 2021, of Drumbo and formerly of South Dumfries Township, in his 78th year.
Richard and was born and raised at R.R. #1 Paris then moved to Paris for 19 ½ years as he worked as an Industrial Mechanic. He started farming the home farm in 1980 and in 1986 bought a farm in Drumbo, he later bought the home farm in Paris. Richard spent many years officiating hockey, he was an avid snowmobiler and loved playing cards, particularly Euchre.
Beloved Husband to the late Gail (nee Morden 2006); he is survived by his best friend Pauline Alexander; his daughters, Wendy Kane (Chris) and Laurie (the late Dan Marshall); his 5 grandchildren, Jenna (Jake), Courtney (Tim), Tanner and Liam Kane and Grace Marshall and a sister Glenda Morton (the late Pete) and a sister in law Donna Jarvis. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his parents, Harold and Lorene; a brother Doug.
A private service was held with interment Paris Plains Cemetery.
