Fort, Ronald Ross, of Simcoe, ON, passed away at Norfolk General Hospital on Jan. 14, 2024, after a lengthy illness. Ron was born on Jan. 17, 1945. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Dorothy. He leaves behind his son Ross (Kate), grandsons David and Thomson, his extended family Nancy DeMille, step-daughter Laura Mustonen (Todd), step-granddaughter Olivia, and many friends.
Ron held various occupations and operated many businesses over his lifetime. He was a past member of the Simcoe Curling Club, the Who-Did-It Club, Simcoe Rotary Club, and the Simcoe Legion and was very active in those organizations. Cremation has taken place. Wm. Kipp Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements. As per Ron’s wishes, no service will be held.
