Rosie Lillie Thompson (nee Cyopick)
Passed away peacefully on January 22, 2024, in her 96th year at Parklane Terrace in Paris. Predeceased by her husband George, sons Ricky and Mark, her parents John and Mary Cyopick (nee Mozel), and her nine siblings. Beloved mother to Laurie Lotimer (Tim). She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Leslea (Mike) and Ryan (Sarah); and great grandchildren (TJ, George and Riley). Rosie was born on Quaker Rd in Welland, Ontario at the family farm. She and George raised their family in St. Catharine’s then later moved to Paris to be closer to family. Many thanks to the nursing, personal care and recreational staff at Parklane Terrace who cared so lovingly for Rosie in the final years of her life. We are truly grateful. Cremation has taken place and she will be buried with George in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to City Kids or an Animal Shelter in honour of Rosie would be appreciated.
