Thorne, Shirley Daphne (nee Gosse)
Peacefully, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in Saturday June 4, 2022, a long-time resident of Ayr, in her 79th year.
Beloved wife to the late Stan (2008); loved mom to Sherry Pettigrew (Joe Daignault) and Junior (Tracey); cherished nanny to Justin Pettigrew (Andrea), Krista Hartigan (David) , Mackenzie (Frank), and Shanon (Celeste); GG to Riley, Lizzy, Paisley, Aubree and Grayson; dear sister to Eugene Gosse, Jim (Karen) Gosse, Evelyn Drover (Ray), and Lloyd Gosse (Ruth). She is survived by many nieces and nephews and many friends at Kirkwood.
Predeceased by siblings Bill Gosse, Walter Gosse, Rose Derle and Frieda Bishop.
Cremation has taken place.
