Trevor passed away at Montreal General Hospital, Montreal, Quebec, on Tuesday February 26, 2019 , at the age of 18 years. Beloved son of Michael and Deborah Wing; Cherished brother of Owen and Emma. Dear Grandson of Gordon & Carol Wing, and Owen & Hannah Davies (pre-deceased) and Great Grandmother Francis Moran. Sadly missed by many Aunts and Uncles, Dave & Colleen Wing, Geoff & Wendy Wing, Ron & Rosalie Davies, John & Debbie Davies (pre-deceased), Gloria & Terry (pre-deceased) Rooth, David & Cheryl Davies, Tom Davies, Jeff & Joanne Watson, Kelly Davies & Denise Cormier, and his many loving cousins and extended family including Katie Zitzelberger and Ambur Wilkinson. Trevor, Trev, Tank, T-Wang, Winger, Swamp, Trevor Butthead, Sloppy Joe, 2 Wings, Wing Wong, (insert your nickname for him here). Whatever you called him, he was simply the best person. Trev loved all the nicknames and loved to banter with people, knowing the love they had for him. That love started at home with his family. He was the leader of fun in the house and would even cheer for Russia in hockey if he thought it would add excitement. There was always a debate about whether Trev was mommy’s baby or dad’s buddy. We all know he was both, as well as an amazing brother to Owen and Emma. Trev, was a proud member of the Ayr Flames through his midget years. He loved hockey, being a teammate and the shenanigans of the change room. He also had a wide group of friends outside of hockey and was an infectious person to be with. The opportunity to be with his gang was what it was all about. Trev was an organ donor and his heart and eyes, will live on. The only challenge they had was finding a person that could accept a heart as big and wonderful as his. Everyone has a Trev story and we know he would not be happy if we were sad. Remember the smile that lit up a room. Remember the way he made you feel. Celebrate who he was and try to put a little more of the spirit and energy that Trev had into your daily life. Trev hated to wear suits. In Trev’s honour we ask you to put on your jeans for the visitation and celebration of life. Family and Friends may call for visitation at the Ayr Chapel, of Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St. Ayr on Wednesday, March 6th, 2019 from 7-9 p.m., and Thursday, March 7th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Trevor’s life will be held on Friday, March 8th Calvary Mennonite Church, next door to the Funeral Home at 1 pm.
