Gawley, William “Bill”
Peacefully, at Brantford General Hospital on April 7, 2023, of Paris, in his 87th year.
Jack of all trades, he could always be found in the garage tinkering. If you couldn’t find the part you were looking for, Bill could make it. He loved to camp and play guitar and harmonica. He was the happiest when teasing those around him. He offered candy to everyone, and it would often taste like Downy.
Beloved husband to Marg (nee Crosby); loved dad to Lynne (John) and Craig (Kerine); Cherished grandpa to Corey (Casey), Kayla (Brian), Taylin (Mario), Tanner (Livy), and Tucker (Shurie), and 7 great grandchildren; Also survived by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Joan, a son in law Allen, in laws Bill & Shirley Crosby and Jerry, and a niece Kim.
A family service will be held with interment Paris Cemetery. Donations to St. Paul’s United Church would be appreciated.
