At home, on Wednesday February 8, 2012, a lifelong resident of Townline Rd, in his 81st year.
Bill was very active playing hockey and baseball for many years. playing for the Ayr Rockets and Ayr Vics. The love of his life was showing cattle.
Beloved husband and best friend to Marilyn (nee Douglas); loved dad to Jeff (Doreen), Graham (Bonnie) and Murray (Mardi); cherished grandpa to Kelly, Ryan, Laura, Amanda, Jarret, Ben, Matthew, Nathan, Levi, Devon, and Tracey; great grandpa to Payton; dear brother to Don (Beth). Also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Predeceased by his parents William Alexander "Allie" and Laura (nee Smith), a sister Muriel Struckett, and a brother Graham in infancy.
A Memorial Service will be held at Knox United Church (92 Northumberland St. Ayr) on Saturday February 18, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Terry Dunseith officiating.
