Obituary for Adeline "Addie" Wright (Desjardins)

Adeline (Addie) Wright
1936 to 2013
Addie Wright passed suddenly at Stirling Heights Long Term Care Centre, Cambridge on Thursday, May 9th, 2013. Adeline was a loving wife of 57 years to John Arthur Wright and mother to daughter Joan Wright (Geoff Hazell) and sons John Wright (Irene Wright), Hugh Wright (Lori Ciaralli), Neil Wright (Mark Eisenberg), grandmother to four grandchildren – Doug McTaggart (Hiro Itagaki), Kyle McTaggart (Erin Horton), Emily and Erica Wright, sister to Gil and Annette Desjardins (deceased), Russel Desjardins, Joanne Doman, Jackie and Kalil Bahri, Joyce Durocher (Rick Durocher), Sheila Paquette (deceased), John Desjardins and Ron & Lise Desjardins.

Addie graduated as nurse in 1956 from Hotel Dieu of St. Joseph in Windsor, Ontario. She enjoyed a rewarding career as a nurse. She will be fondly remembered for her intelligence, remarkable empathy, kindness and warmth towards others.

The family wishes to express its heartfelt thanks to the staff of Stirling Heights Long Term Care Centre for their compassionate care.

The immediate family is having a private visitation and service. Extended family and friends are welcome to join in a celebration of Addie’s life on Saturday, June 15 at 1:00-4:00 p.m. in the North Dumfries Community Centre, 2958 Greenfield Rd, Ayr, Ontario.
