Rising, Agnes “Jean” (nee Forbes)
Peacefully, at Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre, Kitchener, on Friday May 9, 2014, formerly of Glen Morris, in her 96th year.
Jean was a long time member of Glen Morris United Church. She was a member of The Order of the Eastern Star Meeting Waters # 173, Paris and a Past District Deputy Grand Matron.
Beloved wife to the Late Richard “Dick” (2001); loved mother to Joan (Jean); cherished grandma to Lori Woodham (Alwyn) and Scheri Graul and great grandma to Jason (Ashley), Joshua, Andy (Metisha), Sarah and Conner; great great grandma to Jack and Louis; dear sister to Leonard and James Forbes. Predeceased by her sister Mary Utter and brothers Laurence, Norman, and William Forbes.
Friends may call at the Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 184 Grand River St. N. Paris on Tuesday May 12, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9PM. Funeral Services will be held at Glen Morris United Church on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Brenda Otawa officiating. Interment Glen Morris Cemetery.
An Eastern Star Service under the auspices of Meeting Waters # 173 will be held on Tuesday at 6:30 PM. Donations to the Glen Morris United Church would be appreciated.
