HALL (ELLIS) - Alma Irene "Jean" (nee Wood)
Peacefully, at the Brierwood Gardens, Brantford on Saturday September 3, 2011 of Ayr, in her 84th year.
Beloved wife of the late Jim Ellis (1965); loved mother of Darlene Savage (Orvie); cherished grandmother of Jamie (Heather) and Angie Finbow (Tim); cherished great grandmother of Andrew and Zachary Savage and Parker and Mackenzie Finbow. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brothers Bill, Clayton, Murray, Stan, George Wood and sisters Anna Gilbert and Florence Lewis.

Jean was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 29 Paris Ladies Auxiliary and participated in the Terry Fox Run for many years. She was a former employee of Penman’s, Schneider’s and the Queen's Tavern Ayr.
Friends will be received at the AYR CHAPEL, Wm. KIPP FUNERAL HOME, 183 Northumberland Street, Ayr on Wednesday September 7, 2011 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 2:00 p.m..
Interment in Ayr Cemetery.
