Gemmell, Anne (nee Hawes)
At St, Mary's General Hospital, on Friday October 26, 2007, a longtime resident of Ayr, in her 91st year.
Beloved wife of the late Gib (1997); loved mom to Clifford of Neustadt, George (Greta) of Ayr, and Ken (Peggy) of Brussels; cherished grandma to Edward, Darren (Barba), Tracey Toffner (Mark), Belinda Fried (Brad), Cheryl Spencer (Scott), and Trish Gemmell (Sean Gibson) and 14 great grandchildren, dear sister to Arthur Hawes (Ada) of South Hampton and Jack Hawes (Victoria) of Burlington. She will be missed by her dear companion and friend Buttons. Predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Lillian Hawes, her brother Thomas and a sister Lillian.
Friends may call at the Ayr Chapel, Wm. Kipp Funeral Home, 183 Northumberland St. Ayr on Monday 2-4 & 7-9PM. Funeral Services to be held at Christ Anglican Church, 50 Manley St . Ayr on Tuesday at 11:00 AM with Rev. France Ouimet-Wilson officiating. Interment Ayr Cemetery. Donations to Christ Anglican Church or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated
